# What is the difference between Limit hit and Locked?

> Limit hit means a limit was reached and the account was closed out. It clears by itself as soon as the limit is no longer reached, for example on the next trading day. Locked appears when that limit's lock option was on: nothing is copied into the account for the rest of the trading day, even after a restart, unless you unlock it in the inspector's Recovery tab.

## Answer

Limit hit means a limit was reached and the account was closed out. It clears by itself as soon as the limit is no longer reached, for example on the next trading day. Locked appears when that limit's lock option was on: nothing is copied into the account for the rest of the trading day, even after a restart, unless you unlock it in the inspector's Recovery tab.
