# Dashboard, Trade log, and web journal

> Copilink records the orders and fills it sees and groups them into trades. Dashboard sums up a day and Trade log lists every trade. Both are for review, not a live account statement.

## Quick facts

- Product: Copilink Standalone
- Direct Tradovate and Rithmic desktop workflow
- Windows x64, macOS Intel, and macOS Apple silicon
- Local copying with per-follower sizing, account safeguards, analytics, and journaling

## What it does

Review copied trades on the Dashboard and in the Trade log, understand leader and combined P&L, open trades on the web, and track down missing history.

## Why traders choose Copilink Standalone

- Choose a direct Tradovate and Rithmic desktop workflow on Windows or macOS, or stay entirely inside NinjaTrader 8 with the dedicated add-on.
- Manage exact or ratio-based follower sizing, per-account safeguards, and prop-firm-style risk rules from one focused workflow.
- Keep copying local on the trader's machine while cloud sync powers web analytics and journaling.

## How Copilink records trades

Copilink builds its history from the orders and fills it receives while it's running, and stores them on this computer. It groups each entry-to-exit into one trade that includes the leader and every follower that copied it. Trades placed while Copilink was closed may be missing, and Copilink can't recreate events it never received. Your broker's statements are the official record.

Days run from midnight to midnight in your Journal & analytics time zone, set in [Settings](https://copilink.com/standalone/user-guide/settings-data-backups-and-cloud-sync). That's separate from the trading day your risk limits use.

## Dashboard

- Use the arrows to pick a day.
- Leader shows the leader's trades only; Combined shows all accounts together.
- Figures are net realized P&L: closed trades only, after costs the broker reports. Open positions aren't included, so use Live P&L and your broker for those.
- Leader coverage shows how much of the day Copilink could attribute to the leader. Trades it couldn't attribute are left out of leader figures.
- Account performance breaks results down by account.
- Open Trade and Open Journal open a trade on the web once it has synced.

## Trade log

Pick a day with the arrows or Today, or choose All. Search by symbol, side, or status and use the filters to narrow the list. Double-click a trade, or select it and press View selected trade, to open its details.

_Trade log values_
| Value | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| Open | Copilink hasn't seen the trade close. Check your broker before acting on it. |
| Closed | Copilink saw the trade from entry to exit. |
| Leader P&L | The result on the leader account. |
| All accounts P&L | The result across every account in the trade. |
| Points or a dash | Money is shown only when Copilink has complete costs in one currency. Otherwise you see points, or a dash. Copilink doesn't guess. |

The trade window shows each account's quantity, fills, and P&L, plus a timeline of the events Copilink received. Use it to find a follower that's missing, was rejected, or filled differently. Opening it changes nothing.

## Viewing trades on the web

With cloud sync on (the default), trades sync to your Copilink web account. Open one with View trade in web in the Trade log, or Open Trade on the Dashboard, and use Open web journal for the full [trading journal](https://copilink.com/standalone/trading-journal). The button stays disabled until that trade has synced.

- Core includes web trade and session history.
- Suite adds the full web journal with notes, tags, screenshots, templates, and advanced analytics.
- Cloud sync never affects copying, and the web journal can't place or change trades.

## A trade is missing or looks wrong

1. **Check your broker.** Confirm the trade, its fills, and its time at the broker.
2. **Widen the view.** Choose All, clear the search and filters, and check the days either side.
3. **Refresh.** Press Refresh. It rereads what's stored on this computer; it doesn't download history from the broker.
4. **Check whether Copilink saw it.** Was Copilink open and connected when the trade happened? If not, it can't appear.

If P&L differs from your broker, compare the fills, fees, currency, and where Copilink split the trades.

## If something goes wrong

- A trade won't open on the web: check the Copilink Cloud status in Settings and press Sync now.
- A trade shows Open but the account is flat: Copilink missed the exit. Trust your broker; don't send another close.
