QUESTION

What is the difference between Flatten and Disengage?

Flatten: Closes all open positions on the follower account immediately.

• Market orders are submitted to exit all positions
• The follower continues receiving new trades after flattening

Disengage (also called "turn off"): Stops copying new trades to the follower.
• Does NOT close open positions
• The follower keeps any current positions open
• No new leader trades will be copied

Together: Daily Goal and Daily Loss can both flatten open positions and use Session Lockout to stop new trades for the rest of the session.

Other risk rules, such as Account Goal, trailing drawdown, and consistency protection, flatten when breached but do not use the daily goal/loss lockout toggles.

Common use case: "Flatten + Disengage on daily loss limit" = close everything and stop trading for the day.
