Copilink Standalone · TradeSyncer alternative

The TradeSyncer alternative that runs on your own machine.

Copilink Standalone is a desktop trade copier for Tradovate and Rithmic at $28.88 to $37.88 a month, with no account or connection caps, a 14-day trial that needs no card, and per-account rules that send a flatten request when they trip. TradeSyncer is a cloud copier at $49 to $149 a month priced by connections, takes a card for its 7-day trial, and does two things Copilink does not: it keeps copying with your computer off, and it connects to Sierra Chart, ATAS, and DXFeed. If your accounts are on Tradovate or Rithmic and you want the copier and your broker logins on a computer you control, Copilink is the cheaper and more protective choice. If you need a hosted copier or one of those platforms, TradeSyncer is the better fit.

The rows that change the decision: where it runs, what it connects to, what a year costs, how many accounts you can attach, what the trial commits you to, and what the copier does when an account breaks a rule.

TradeSyncer review: what it does well, where it costs you.

A fair read before the pitch. TradeSyncer is a capable cloud copier with a wider platform list than ours, and for some setups it is the right choice.

Where it is strong

  • It keeps copying with your computer off

TradeSyncer is cloud-native. There is nothing to install, no VPS to rent, and the copier does not stop when your laptop sleeps. This is the main reason people choose it, and Copilink does not offer it.

  • A long platform list

Tradovate, Rithmic, NinjaTrader, TradingView, DXFeed, Sierra Chart, and ATAS on one service, and Topstep is on its supported-firm list. If your leader is a TradingView strategy or your accounts sit on a platform Copilink does not connect to, this settles it.

  • Real per-account controls

Daily loss limits, daily profit targets, time and session lockouts, per-account multipliers, and separate copy groups are itemized on its trade copier page. That is more than most cloud copiers publish.

  • A latency claim with a caveat

Its pages say average execution under 50 milliseconds and add that timing varies by broker, platform, and market conditions. The caveat is honest. The method behind the number is not published.

Where traders run into limits

  • $49 to $149 a month, priced by connections

That is $588.00 to $1,788.00 a year at list. Basic allows 2 connections with 10 accounts each and Pro 4 with 20 each, so adding a broker login or outgrowing a cap means the next tier. Copilink Core is $289.88 a year and Suite $379.88, with no account or connection caps.

  • The trial takes a card and bills on day 8

Seven days of full access, but the card goes in first and the first month is charged unless you cancel in time. Put the date in your calendar before you start.

  • The link to your broker lives on their servers

Cloud copying means a hosted service holds the connection to your funded accounts. If that service, or your route to it, has a problem, you find out from the outside. A local copier fails on your machine, where you can see it and where your logins already are.

  • Breach and drift behavior is not spelled out

The limits are listed. What happens the moment an account crosses one, and what the copier does when a follower is the wrong size after a disconnect, is not on the pages we read. Ask before you trust it with a funded account.

TradeSyncer pricing as a yearly number.

TradeSyncer prices by connections, and a connection is one broker or platform login. A trader with a Tradovate login and a Rithmic login uses two, which already fills the Basic tier; a third login means Pro. This is what twelve months costs on each plan at list price.

Its pricing page offers annual billing at a discount and advertises savings of up to 30 percent on Flex; the exact annual figures were not shown on the page we read, so the table uses list prices.

Yearly cost of TradeSyncer and Copilink Standalone plans
PlanList, per month12 months at list
TradeSyncer Basic2 connections, 10 accounts each$49.00$588.00
TradeSyncer Pro4 connections, 20 accounts each$99.00$1,188.00
TradeSyncer Flexunlimited connections, 120 accounts included$149.00$1,788.00
Copilink Standalone Coreor $289.88 billed annually; one machine$28.88$346.56
Copilink Standalone Suiteor $379.88 billed annually; two machines$37.88$454.56

Like for like, TradeSyncer Basic at $588.00 a year against Copilink Core at $289.88 is the fair comparison for a trader with one or two logins, and Copilink does not cap the accounts behind them. Suite at $379.88 adds the web journal, analytics, and a second licensed machine. If you would outgrow Basic, the gap widens: Pro is $1,188.00 a year and Flex $1,788.00.

What Copilink does differently, and why.

Local only, on purpose

TradeSyncer's whole pitch is that the copier lives on its servers. Copilink only ships a desktop app. That is a limitation if you want copying to continue while you sleep, and a feature if you do not want a hosted service holding the link to your funded accounts. Your Tradovate and Rithmic logins stay in your operating system's credential store; Copilink's servers see a license key, a machine identifier, and, only if you turn on cloud sync, reconstructed trade history.

No caps to design around

TradeSyncer sells connections and accounts per connection. A second broker login or an eleventh account on Basic means the next tier. Copilink profiles hold any number of accounts from Tradovate and Rithmic together, and you can save as many profiles as you want with one live at a time. The price is for the machine it runs on, not for how many accounts you attach.

Rules that act, and say so

Both products list per-account limits. Copilink states what happens next: an actionable breach submits a flatten request to the broker; a breached leader's profile stops, and a breached follower can be disengaged until you re-enable it. Follower protection does the same for drift. It is also honest about the gap: trailing drawdown and funded-account consistency are monitored in Standalone, not acted on. A flatten is a request the broker decides; confirm at the broker every time.

A number with a method

4.91 ms average internal follower-event processing across 2,171 events over five sessions, with queue wait, broker, network, and exchange time excluded and the exclusions written down. TradeSyncer's "under 50ms" is a different kind of number: it includes the round trip to its servers, and no method is published. Ask each vendor what their clock starts and stops on before you compare.

Read the measurement

When TradeSyncer is the right pick.

You need it running with the computer off

This is what TradeSyncer is built for. Copilink's answer is a Windows VPS you rent and control, which costs money and admin time. If you would rather pay TradeSyncer to host it, that is a reasonable trade.

Your entries come from TradingView alerts

Copilink copies what a leader account does; it has no webhook receiver. If a TradingView strategy is your leader, TradeSyncer lists that connection and Copilink cannot replace it.

Your accounts are on TopstepX, Sierra Chart, ATAS, or DXFeed

Copilink Standalone connects to Tradovate and Rithmic, and the add-on works inside NinjaTrader 8. TradeSyncer lists Topstep among its supported firms and connects to Sierra Chart, ATAS, and DXFeed. If one of those is where your accounts live, Copilink is not an option yet.

You want a copier that leaves nothing on your PC

Some traders would rather have no software to install, update, or keep awake. That is a legitimate preference, and it is the opposite of Copilink's design. Know which one you are before you pick.

Switching from TradeSyncer without a gap.

Run both for a week. The Copilink trial does not need a card, so the only thing you are spending is one Demo session.

  1. 01

Start the Copilink trial while TradeSyncer is still running

It needs no card, so there is nothing to cancel first. Install on the machine you trade from, or on a second one; the trial covers two.

  2. 02

Connect Tradovate Demo or a Rithmic test login

Tradovate opens browser authorization; Rithmic uses the username, system, and location your firm gave you. Logins stay in your operating system's credential store on that computer. There is no cloud account to link.

  3. 03

Rebuild one copy group as one profile

TradeSyncer multipliers map to Copilink ratios; a 0.5 multiplier is a 0.5 ratio, rounded down to whole contracts. Every account you copied through one connection can sit in one profile; there is no per-connection cap to design around.

  4. 04

Place one small test trade and read the activity log

Confirm each follower's fill, size, and any rejection at the broker, not in the copier. Then set the per-account daily loss and evaluation rules and trip one on purpose so you see the flatten request go out.

  5. 05

Cancel TradeSyncer before its renewal date

Its subscription renews monthly or annually depending on what you picked. Time the switch to the end of a billing period, and if you are mid-trial, cancel before day 8 or the first month is charged.

Tradecopia vs TradeSyncer, with Copilink as the third column.

These two get compared constantly because both sell subscriptions to futures prop traders. The differences that matter are where the copier runs, what it caps, and what it does when an account breaks a rule.

TradeSyncer questions, answered plainly.

Price, the trial, cloud versus local, NinjaTrader, speed, and what switching involves.

Is Copilink cheaper than TradeSyncer?

Yes at every tier. TradeSyncer is $49, $99, or $149 a month depending on how many connections you need, which is $588.00 to $1,788.00 a year at list before its annual discount. Copilink Standalone Core is $28.88 a month or $289.88 a year, and Suite, which adds the web journal, analytics, and a second machine, is $37.88 a month or $379.88 a year. Neither Copilink plan caps accounts or connections.

How much does TradeSyncer cost?

As read on its pricing page on 19 September 2026: Basic is $49 a month for 2 connections with 10 accounts each, Pro is $99 a month for 4 connections with 20 accounts each, and Flex is $149 a month for unlimited connections with 120 accounts included and more available to add. Annual billing is discounted, with savings advertised at up to 30 percent on Flex. A connection is one broker or platform login, so a trader with Tradovate and Rithmic accounts uses two.

Does TradeSyncer have a free trial?

Seven days with full access on every tier. It asks for a card up front and charges on day 8 unless you cancel; its page says a canceled trial stops immediately. Copilink's 14-day trial requires no card and does not start a subscription on its own.

Can Copilink keep copying while my computer is off?

No. Copilink runs only on a machine you control, and copying stops when that machine sleeps, loses power, or loses its connection. TradeSyncer runs in the cloud and keeps copying with your computer off. If you want unattended copying with Copilink, install it on a Windows VPS you rent; a licensed machine can be a VPS.

Which is better for NinjaTrader 8, Copilink or TradeSyncer?

They work differently. TradeSyncer connects to NinjaTrader from its cloud. Copilink for NinjaTrader 8 is an add-on that runs inside your NinjaTrader session and copies between the accounts connected there, with a one-time $226.88 license for the copier and a 7-day trial with no card. It is a separate product from Copilink Standalone with its own license. If you trade inside NinjaTrader and want the copier local, read the NinjaTrader 8 trade copier page.

Which one is faster?

The numbers are not comparable. TradeSyncer publishes an average execution speed under 50 milliseconds and says timing varies by broker, platform, and conditions, without a method. Copilink's 4.91 ms figure is internal follower-event processing measured across 2,171 events, with broker, network, and exchange time excluded; the method is on the methodology page. A cloud copier always adds a network hop to their servers and back that a local copier does not have, but both products are far faster than copying by hand.

What happens to my TradeSyncer copy groups if I switch?

You rebuild them as Copilink profiles. Each profile has one leader and any number of followers, each with its own ratio and rules, and you can save as many profiles as you like with one live at a time. There is no import; a group of eight accounts takes a few minutes to recreate on a Demo login before you connect live accounts.

Trading inside NinjaTrader 8 instead? The NinjaTrader 8 trade copier is a separate Copilink product with a one-time license.
