Copilink Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Daco Holdings LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as Copilink ("Copilink," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data through copilink.com, your account and dashboard, Copilink Standalone, Copilink for NinjaTrader 8, our emails, and support (together, the "Services"). We are the controller of this data. Our Cookie Policy and Terms and Conditions also apply.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email, password, and the NinjaTrader account email we use to issue an NT8 licence.
• Purchase details: your plan, billing name and address, and tax ID if you give one. Card details are collected by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored by us.
• Messages and files you send us through email, the contact form, the chatbot, or the desktop app, including logs and diagnostic files.
• Journal notes and images, and reviews you submit.
• Affiliate details: your application, signed agreement, and payout and tax details.

Information from our software

• Licence and update checks: your account or NinjaTrader user name, a device identifier, the app version, and the IP address of the request.
• Cloud sync: your trade history, including instruments, times, quantities, prices, fills, fees, profit and loss, and the account name your broker shows.
• Diagnostic details you choose to send with a support request.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, we collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the site that referred you, and the time of each visit. We use cookies and similar technologies for this, including session replays that record how you move through pages with typed input and page text masked. See the Cookie Policy.

Information from others

We receive payment status from Stripe, licence status from NinjaTrader, advertising performance from Google, email delivery and unsubscribe events from our email provider, and, if you arrive through an affiliate link, which affiliate referred you.

Broker and platform passwords

Broker and platform passwords are never entered on copilink.com and never sent to us. Copilink Standalone stores them on your own computer and sends them only to your broker. If you connect a broker account by signing in on the broker's own page, the access it grants goes to your app, and we do not store it.

2. How we use information

• To provide the Services: accounts, licences, downloads, cloud sync, analytics, the journal, and payments.
• To answer support requests and run the chatbot.
• To send account, billing, security, and legal messages, and product news and offers you can unsubscribe from.
• To keep the Services secure and prevent fraud, abuse, and licence sharing.
• To understand and improve the Services and measure our advertising.
• To create aggregated statistics that do not identify you, which we may publish.
• To pay affiliates, meet legal, tax, and accounting duties, and enforce our Terms.

We do not use your trade data, journal, or files to train generalized AI models, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics and other analytics tools to understand how the Services are used. When you are signed in, these tools can link your activity to your account. Google Analytics is connected to Google Ads, so Google can measure our ads and build advertising audiences from site visitors, which we may use to show Copilink ads. We do not sell personal data for money. Under some US state laws, this use of Google's services may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland, these tools run only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Elsewhere they run by default. Anyone can turn them off at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Our website does not respond to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals.

4. How we share information

We share personal data only with:

• service providers that work for us under contract, for hosting, storage, databases, payments, email, analytics, advertising, customer support, AI tools, and error reporting;
• NinjaTrader, to issue Copilink for NinjaTrader 8 licences;
• the affiliate who referred you, limited to commission details and never your contact details;
• our lawyers, accountants, and other professional advisers;
• authorities or others when we believe the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Copilink, our users, or others;
• a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business; and
• anyone else you ask us to share it with.

5. How long we keep information

• Account details: while your account is open. When you ask us to close it, we delete or anonymize them, except records we must keep.
• Trade data and journal content: until you delete it or close your account.
• Purchase and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Support messages and files: as long as they are useful for helping you and keeping a support history.
• Logs, security records, and analytics data: as long as needed for their purpose, then deleted or anonymized.

Deleted data can remain in backups until they are replaced.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you as the law requires.

7. International transfers

Copilink is a United States company. We and our service providers process data in the United States and other countries, whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where the law requires it, we use approved safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable format, and to stop using it for marketing or analytics. Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will reply within 30 days, or tell you if we need longer for a complex request. We may keep data the law requires us to keep. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in each one, and change your cookie choice with Cookie settings.

Residents of US states with privacy laws, such as California, may also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and of targeted advertising, which you can do with Cookie settings, and have the right not to be discriminated against for using their rights.

If you are in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to restrict or object to our processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on these legal bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Services); our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Services, and emailing account holders about our products); your consent (analytics and advertising cookies); and legal obligations (tax and accounting).

9. Children

The Services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. For material changes, we will notify you by email or with a notice on the website before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date below shows the latest revision.
