Trade Copying FAQ

QUESTION

Why are my orders being rejected?

Order rejections in Copilink can occur for multiple reasons. Common causes include: Stop Price Errors: - A Buy Stop must be above the market. - A Sell Stop must be below the market. - Orders too close to bid/ask or during volatility may fail. Solution: Add more distance from the market or use a market order before adding stops. Order Already Complete: - Attempting to modify or cancel a filled order causes rejections. Solution: Avoid changing orders close to fill time. Price Outside Bands: - Exchanges reject prices placed too far from the market or with incorrect decimal values. Solution: Always validate price accuracy. Additional Notes: - Negative ratios can cause rejections if orders land on the wrong side. - High volatility increases rejection probability. - Conservative order spacing minimizes failures.
