Profiles and copying
Leaders, followers, ratios, whole-contract sizing, Cross Order mapping, profile state, and existing positions.
Questions and answers
How many follower profiles can be active at once?
One follower profile can be active at a time. You can save multiple profiles, but starting another profile stops or replaces the current active selection through the app’s profile flow.
Are existing positions copied when a profile starts?
No. Copilink copies new supported leader activity after the profile becomes active. It does not create orders to synchronize positions that were already open, so followers can remain unmatched until those existing positions close or you manage them at the broker.
Why did a follower order calculate to zero?
Follower quantities must be whole contracts. Copilink calculates floor(leader quantity × follower ratio), so a result below one becomes zero and no follower order is sent for that event.
What does Cross Order do?
Cross Order maps a verified standard futures symbol to its paired micro contract, or the reverse, for supported pairs. The follower ratio still controls contract count; it is not an automatic notional-value conversion.
How does follower ratio sizing work?
For each supported leader order, Copilink multiplies the leader quantity by the follower ratio and floors the result to a whole contract. Ratios below 1.0 reduce quantity; ratios above 1.0 increase it.
Can I edit a profile while it is active?
Use the app’s visible active-profile controls and warnings. For changes that affect leaders, followers, ratios, mapping, or protection, the safe path is to stop new leader activity, verify broker exposure, disable the profile, edit it, then retest in simulation.
Which connections must be ready before copying?
The leader and every intended follower need a usable connected broker route and discovered account. Market data and Live P&L have separate states; a connected account can still have reduced P&L-based protection.
Are accounts, followers, and saved profiles limited by plan?
The current Core and Suite access policy does not impose a product limit on connected accounts, followers, or saved profiles. Broker and API limits, computer resources, and the one-active-profile rule still apply.
What should I check before switching profiles?
Stop new leader activity, make positions and working orders safe, disable the current profile, and confirm it is inactive. Then select the next profile, verify its leader, followers, sizing, protection, connections, and account state before enabling it.
