How Apex rules are handled
Copilink Standalone saved Tradovate and Rithmic connections

Start with the route Apex issued.

Apex accounts come on Tradovate or Rithmic, and the route is fixed at purchase. Copilink connects to both (see the Tradovate trade copier and the Rithmic trade copier) and can put accounts from either route in one profile. Run a simulation check first.

  • Tradovate and Rithmic together

A Tradovate leader can feed Rithmic followers and the other way round. That mixes separately issued accounts; it does not convert an Apex account from one platform to another.

  • Evaluation and PA in one profile

Enable each follower individually. Pause one account without touching the rest.

  • Different sizes, one decision

Give a 50k account a smaller ratio than a 150k account. Results round down to whole contracts, and anything below one contract is not sent.

  • Credentials stay on your machine

Tradovate authorization and Rithmic logins are stored in your operating system's secure credential storage. No hosted middleman holds them.

Apex rules: what Copilink acts on, what it only watches.

Apex drawdown and daily limits differ by program, and current PAs add a payout consistency rule. Here is how Standalone treats each one. Your Apex dashboard stays the record.

  • Acts: daily loss and daily profit

Set your own per-account daily loss and daily profit limits. On breach, Copilink sends a flatten request for that account and, if you enable it, disengages the follower until you re-enable it.

  • Acts: evaluation goals and consistency

Evaluation-account goals and evaluation consistency rules can request a flatten when breached. A breached leader stops the active profile.

  • Watches: trailing drawdown

Intraday and trailing drawdown are monitored and shown, not enforced, in the current app. The Apex dashboard remains the authority on your drawdown.

  • Watches: PA consistency

Funded-account consistency is monitoring-only today. Copilink shows the number; it does not block trades to protect a payout.

  • Follower protection

An account at the wrong size, open while the leader is flat, or on the opposite side beyond your delay gets a flatten request and can be disengaged.

  • Broker state wins

A flatten is a request. Confirm the position in Tradovate or R|Trader before you resume, and treat Apex's own numbers as final.

Measured, not estimated

~5 ms

average internal follower-order event processing

Measured across 2,171 follower order events in five Copilink sessions between 9 and 11 September 2026. Timing starts after Copilink admits an event for processing and excludes broker, network, exchange, and internal queue-wait time. The count is of events, not unique trades. Running several Apex accounts through one machine means the queue matters too, which is why that wait is reported separately.

Does Apex Trader Funding allow copy trading?

Apex publishes its own rules on copiers, how many accounts you can hold, and how they may be traded together. Those rules are Apex's and change without notice, so read the current Apex help center before you connect. Copilink is a tool for copying between accounts you are permitted to trade; it does not change what Apex permits.

Are Apex accounts on Tradovate or Rithmic?

Apex issues accounts on both, depending on the plan you bought. Copilink Standalone connects to either, and one profile can carry Tradovate and Rithmic followers together. Check which route each account was issued on.

Can I copy from an evaluation to a PA account, or between PAs?

A profile is one leader and any followers you enable, whatever stage each account is at. Whether a combination is allowed is set by your Apex agreement, so check Apex's current copying rules first.

Does Copilink enforce Apex's trailing drawdown and consistency rules?

It monitors them and can act on some of them. Evaluation consistency and your own daily loss, daily profit, and evaluation goals can request a flatten when breached. Trailing drawdown and funded-account consistency are monitored in the current Standalone app but not enforced, so keep watching those in the Apex dashboard.

Is this the Apex Trade Copier from Apex Investing?

No. Apex Trade Copier is a NinjaTrader 8 add-on sold by Apex Investing. Copilink Standalone is a separate Windows and macOS application that connects directly to Tradovate and Rithmic and does not need NinjaTrader. Copilink also makes its own NinjaTrader 8 add-on under a separate license.

What happens if one Apex account rejects an order?

Each follower order is accepted, rejected, or filled by the broker on its own, so accounts can end up different. Follower protection can flatten and disengage an account that is the wrong size, open while the leader is flat, or on the wrong side, and the activity log shows what happened on each account.

Try it on an Apex evaluation before a PA.

Start the 14-day Suite trial, connect the platform your Apex accounts run on, and copy a few small trades between evaluation accounts first. From $28.88 a month after the trial, with no card required to start.
