What is the difference between the local Trade log and the web journal?
The desktop Trade log reads history stored by the local app and groups available activity into sessions. Cloud sync can publish eligible reconstructed history for web trade and session views; Suite adds the full web journal, notes, tags, screenshots, templates, and analytics.
Which journal features are included in Core and Suite?
Core includes the local Trade log, cloud sync, and web reporting for synced trade and session history. Suite adds the full web trading journal, notes, tags, screenshots, templates, and advanced analytics.
Why is a trade missing from the Trade log?
The Trade log can only show activity Copilink received and stored. Refresh the selected date and filters, confirm the app was open, and compare with broker records. Copilink cannot reconstruct full detail for an event it never received or saved.
Do I need cloud sync to use the Trade log or web journal?
The local desktop Trade log works from local stored history without cloud sync. Web trade, session, journal, and analytics views need eligible data to sync first; turning sync off leaves newer local activity unavailable on the web.
What data does cloud sync upload?
Cloud sync uploads eligible reconstructed trade, session, and journal data needed for the web experience. It does not upload broker passwords, OAuth tokens, raw local database dumps, or support diagnostics as part of normal journal sync.
Does turning off cloud sync stop trade copying?
No. Cloud sync and the desktop copying engine run separately. Turning sync off stops new eligible history from reaching the web, but it does not stop copying when the profile and broker connections remain healthy.
Does the web journal control trade copying?
No. The Standalone desktop app runs copying and protection. The web journal presents synced trade history, notes, tags, screenshots, templates, and analytics according to plan access; it does not operate the copy engine.
Why will a trade not open on the web?
The trade may not have a completed cloud link. Confirm cloud sync is enabled, check the item’s sync state, use Sync now once, and verify account access and internet connectivity. A local trade remains local until a successful sync creates its web record.
What trade history is recorded while Copilink is closed?
Copilink does not copy or observe desktop broker events while it is closed. A later broker snapshot can help reconstruct current or summary state, but it cannot recreate every order event, fill detail, or local record that the app never received.
