Questions and answers
What is Copilink Standalone?
Copilink Standalone is a separate desktop trade-copying application for Tradovate and Rithmic accounts. You choose one leader, add follower accounts, configure sizing and protection, then monitor copying, risk state, activity, and trade history from Copilink.
Which brokers does Copilink Standalone support?
Copilink Standalone currently connects to Tradovate and Rithmic. Tradovate uses browser authorization for Demo or Live, while Rithmic uses your username, password, server location, and selected system.
Does Copilink Standalone run as a separate desktop app?
Yes. Copilink Standalone is installed and opened as its own desktop application. It does not run inside a trading platform and it does not require NinjaTrader 8.
Is Copilink Standalone included with Copilink for NinjaTrader 8?
No. Copilink Standalone and Copilink for NinjaTrader 8 are separate products with separate plans, access, setup, broker behavior, documentation, and FAQs.
What are a leader and a follower?
The leader is the account whose new supported order activity drives copying. A follower is a connected account that receives scaled copied activity according to the active follower profile.
Which computers can run Copilink Standalone?
Copilink publishes desktop variants for Windows x64, macOS on Intel, and macOS on Apple silicon. It does not publish a Linux variant, and no unverified minimum operating-system version is stated.
Does Copilink guarantee identical orders or fills across accounts?
No. Copilink sends requests to each broker account, but the broker controls acceptance and execution. Timing, liquidity, slippage, connection state, market data, rejects, and account restrictions can produce different outcomes.
