Why do I need to load and select a Rithmic system?

Rithmic credentials can expose systems for different providers or environments. Copilink loads the systems available to your username, then connects to the system and server location you select.

There is also a This is a live-money account box. Tick it only for a real funded account. Leave it off for evaluations, simulated funded accounts, paper, and test systems so Copilink treats them as simulation.
